The day was  blue and white like the night that haunts my day dreams I

Back Again

After a long respite my blog has come out of it coma and is reborn (how do you like the new name?) and ready to house my thoughts and ideas once again. Life on our farm is surreal and beautiful and hard work. 

Living with out electricity is suprisingly easy and it was very simple to ajust to laterns and oil lamps and batery powerd headlamps for reading. 
The wood cookstove is truly the hearth of our home, 
I love to come down the stairs in the morning and see the flames flikering in the glass window. 
I am also amazed with own well things grow here including mold!! It has been very hot the past few weeks with the heat index sometimes reaching 110% but this week has been lovely and almost chilly. 
I hope to blog here as often as possible now, so check back every so often and see what I am up to!

A New Blog

After a lot of thought and consideration I have decided to start a photography blog.
 Simple Legacy Photography to showcase and catalog my photos.
I will still blog here as often as I can and in more of a journal fashion, as to keep a record of the incredible journey I am on with my family and speaking of that we only have two more days left till we move!!! Can you believe this has gone by so fast I remember when we had 79 days left and I was excited because we were so close! My goodness

Life what an adventure!

My goodness life sure is busy around here!! Boxes, tape and wrapping paper seem to dominate our nearly emty house. We have acomplished a lot and yet there is still SO MUCH left to do, it is sometimes mind numbing. Yesterday was my last piano class:( I will miss it so much, my teacher was a blessing from God
and I am praying He will bless me with another great teacher in Mo. On another note I have been blissfully occupying my self with my dear friend Cannon Eos we are a mach made in heaven I'm sure.

Sad News....

Salutations Friends
I have sad news....... our computer crashed! :( All my photos were on there!!!!!!
I am writing this on my Grandmother's laptop at her house.
I wont go into long details but it's fried...We sent it off to the manufacturer for a possible warranty replacement but that could take five weeks at least and we will be on the farm by then. So I am left with few options. I can make the occasional post on my dads laptop but it is really fragile and sensitive so I rarely want to mess with it. I am really sorry this happened, I'll try to keep you informed on our moving progress and such. Please bare with me.....I am so bummed :(
